In 1990, ASA the new subsidiary of HANKOOK Tire Co., Ltd who was ranked No. 10 world wide in tire industry with 50 years of manufacturing experience started its quality alloy wheel business under technical cooperation agreement with BBS Germany, a world-renowned quality manufacturer.
Thanks to this agreement ASA was able to get the most modernized facility suggested by BBS Germany.

In March 1992, the company began production of alloy wheels at its newly built plant equipped with automated facilities
and warehouses assuring the best quality and right delivery to customers all over the world. The quality standard was
established by ASA's engineers to reach that of BBS.

In October 1994, ISO 9001 was awarded to ASA which certifies the best quality control, development, production and
service system. It was renewed in 1997. QS 9000, the highest quality management standardin automobile industry
originated by American big 3 car manufacturers was awarded to ASA in 1999.

As a main collaborator of car
manufactures like Renault in France,
Nissan, Daihatsu in Japan, Hyundai,
Daewoo and Kia and with an annual
production capacity of 2.85 million
pieces, ASA has grown successfully
with its after market partners all over
the world as well as meeting TUV,
VIA, JWL and SAE quality standards.
